Finally, a use for daylight saving time worth the effort. From Raleigh's News & Observer:
In 1999, a terrorist attack on Israel's West Bank was thwarted when the terrorists failed to take into account the switch back to standard time. The bomb went off an hour early, killing only the terrorists.

What a delicious story. I'd love to see the outtakes of terrorist videos after hearing about that one time when the Al Q's leader's gun jammed during a photo op.
