What happens when the designated driver is distracted by his drunk friends grabbing the steering wheel or reaching from the back seat and covering his eyes?

Drunk friend gets cold-cocked?
I'm with Freddie. Drunk friend gets knocked the hell out for the duration of the ride. Either that or drunk friend gets stuffed into the trunk or into a taxi.
Great ideas, both! Maybe the best bet is to start the trip out like that.

You have me curious. Did a drunk friend present you with this scenario?
Thankfully, no. It was just a random thought after reading a newspaper article. Though designated driving is a tremendous substitute to driving drunk, it is not a 100% solution.
