Why is it a bad thing to text while driving, yet it's OK to bang an address into ones car's navigation system?

Actually, I don't have a nav system and I have never texted anyone, so what does that tell you?

Well, my wife has been trying to get me to use a nav - even using the "you don't like to ask for directions" ploy, but I just have no interest.
Re: texting, I prefer communication the old fashioned way - cellphones.
